200 meters away from Evais Boutique Houses and Luxury Suites, you will find the famous beach of France, while only 750 meters away is the sandy beach of Psili Ammos, which features umbrellas for bathers.
St. Demetrius
Beautiful beach on the Aegean side, formed by the river that leaks the homonymous gorge. The beach is with white pebble, inside and outside the sea, with blue-green and crystal clear waters. The river ends shortly before the beach, where it forms a small pond.
Although it is relatively far from the main road, it gathers several people during summer months The beach is with a fine pebble, while its orientation is northeast.
How will you get there? From Marmari go up the main road and cross across, towards Paradisi – Agios Dimitrios. You pass Hania, Paradisi, Melissa, and then the village of Agios Dimitrios and after you travel 8 km you will reach the beach. The last measures for the beach are a dirt road.
YANNITSI
A picturesque beach near Marmari, in southern Evia. It is a relatively remote beach that gathers a lot of people in the summer months, especially on weekends. It is located in a bay and wet from the clear waters of the Aegean Sea. At the beach ends a river that descends west of Giannitsiou. On the way to Giannichi you will also meet the village of Pothi, a village on a verdant slope, drowned in green.
In the wider area of Giannitsiou are also the long-term oak forests of Giannitsiou. Also, on a hill above the beach of Giannitsi, is the medieval castle of Fyragra.
You can only reach the ruins of the castle by vehicle 4X4 due to the rough dirt road leading there. The beach is with fine sand and pebbles, while its orientation is northeast.
How will you get there? From Marmari go to the main road and at the intersection cross across Chania – Paradisi. In Chania turn left. Pass Pothi – Giannichi and after about 4 km you will find the beach. In total, the beach is 19 km from Marmari.
COFFEE
The beach of Kavos is located near Karystos, in southern Evia. It is a beautiful beach with tourist infrastructure. A characteristic of the beach is the river that flows into the beach, separating it in the middle.
The beach is with sand and fine pebble, while its orientation is southwest.
How will you get there? From Karysto continue east to Eagle and continues coastal for 6 km until you find the beach.
SAINT FRIDAY
Agia Paraskevi beach is located near Karystos, in southern Evia. It is a beautiful beach in a picturesque bay. The view of the bay, with the island that enters the sea and the lighthouse, combined with the wild landscape, makes the beach one of the most beautiful beaches of Evia.
The name was taken by the beach from the church of the same name.
The beach is with sand and fine pebble, while its orientation is eastern.
How will you get there? From Karystos beach continue west for 11 km until you find the beach.
River
Potami Beach is located near Platanistos village, in southern Evia. It is a large beach that is wet by the blue waters of the Aegean Sea. A characteristic of the beach is the wide covered river that flows here. During the summer season the river dries, offering ideal shade to the free campers who come here.
The beach is with fine sand and fine pebble, while its orientation is eastern.
How will you get there? From Karysto continue east to Metohi-Platanisto. After Platanistos turn right on a deep dirt road. After 4-5 km you will reach the beach. Overall from Karysto is 29 km.
